Donut Fundraiser: May 25th - 27th Memorial Weekend, Sundays June 2nd, 9th, & 16th, Saturdays & Sundays June 22nd through September 2nd, and Monday Labor Day. Not open Thursday, July 4th. Freshly made "Sound View Donuts" on sale from 7 to 10 AM or until sold out. Purchase donuts at community center or preorder here. All sale profits go to support Shoreline Community Center. Jewelry Class Fundraiser: June 13th, Thursday at 7 PM. Explore basic jewelry techniques and wireworking skills such as wrapping, forming and hammering to create 4 to 6 jewelry projects, including pendants, bracelets, and rings. Class $40, paid one week in advance, with $10 from each admission going to community center. Class size limit 10 people. Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser: June 15th, Saturday from 8 to 11 AM. Enjoy delicious pancakes, maple syrup, sausage, orange juice, and coffee/tea. Bring the family for a fantastic breakfast! Donations adults $10, children under 8 years $5. For info, call Laurene at 413-896-7796.
Bingo: June 19 thru August 28th, Wednesdays. Doors open at 6 PM, game starts at 7 pm. The $17 admission charge includes 20 games, 17 regular games and 3 specials with bigger prizes. Join us for a fun evening and win some money! For info, call Bob at 860-434-3745.
Independence Day Parade: Saturday July 6th, at 10 AM starting from community center. There will be a marching band, VFW Honor Guard, children marchers, decorated bikes, floats, balloons, and fun, fun, fun! After the parade, numerous prizes will be awarded to children for best costume, most patriotic, funniest outfit, and best decorated bike and wagon. If you want to be in parade, join line up at 9:45 AM on Hartford Avenue in front of the Shoreline Community Center. For info, call Gail at 860-434-6426.
Pasta Dinner: Saturday August 3rd, doors open from 5:30 to 8 PM. Enjoy delicious pasta, meatballs, fresh salad, bread, desserts, and coffee. All you can eat! Walk-ins welcome. Donations adults $12, children under 8 years $6. Tickets available at door or call Val at 860-716-6632.
